Hello:
today I write about thing that like me learn, in general like me make crafts, and it is for this, that like me learn more about mosaic, candle and sewing. I learn sewing in the school. Mosaic I learn with class, but only the first level, I stopped the class because I don`t have time, and the teacher went to live to a countryside near Santiago. The candle I learn by a book that teaches step to step how make to candle.

I like learn some trade well I think that very useful and practical, and like make and create thing, too like me assemble and disassemble thing, it is that like learn carpentry and  I can make furniture. In addition, I like learn plumber and electrician and too have notion that mechanics.

In other area I like learn to play guitar, there is a guitar in my house, but I have how pending matter, too I like learn to sing but I am very out of tune, In addition I like learn too dance, different dance type,  how tango, salsa, meringue.

Finally I like resume my lesson that flamenco, because I like and I had to leave because I don`t have time when I entry to university.  

the food.

Hello:

Today I write about the food. I like eat and I eat almost all. Nevertheless I don`t go out for eat, because my mother and father cook fantastic.

Sometimes go out eat whit my parent to the restaurant casa vieja, and there I eat sea urchins, it is delicious, I liked. Before the casa vieja were in street Chile–España, but now the restaurant it is in street Manuel Montt near that my house.

Before too we (me and my parent) went to the restaurant that parrilladas, in street Bilbao, but one day close, and decide go to the parrilladas uruguayas, but it`s not good.

Too whit my boyfriend sometimes go to eat sandwich in the “guatón” in Manuel Montt with Eliodoro Yañez, but now it is more expensive and so we don´t go more.

Too I like the sushi, but it`s very expensive. With my boyfriend decide cook sushi in the house, generally cook sushi whit friend, like that we happen awhile agreeably and eat delicious.

The other food that I like it`s is the ice cream, when I was children every time, with my grandmother eat ice cream, in the summer in Tongoy I always eat ice cream of cinnamon but that water, and ice cream of papaya. In Santiago I always go to the Bravissimo there I buy ice cream of mixed berries and ice cream of meringue with lucuma. 

my holidays

Hello:

Today I write about the holidays, I have the luck that  I was in very place, and all are wonderful, but I choose two, the first place is Egypt.

Who someone will know, I lived in Spain, and for this reason I traveled Egypt.  I ever wanted know Egipt, one day arrived at my house in Madrid  a son that a friend that my father, we us friend, a one day I said that travel to Egypt, and her answer was positive, was summer and for travel Egypt is off season for the excessive heat. This went in the European summer that 2009.

The trip consist in a cruise for the Nile, and three days in the Cairo, in total seven o eight days. Please went I say cruise don`t imagine a the love boat, well in Egypt the cruise were different, more simple, and traveled in the more economic.

In the cruise a visit many temple of ancient Egypt well all are built in the near of river. And in the Cairo, we (my friend ad my) whit 6 friend Spanish  that know in the cruise, contract  a taxi, for seven euro for days, for that to teach us the city was a adventure. One curious datum, it`s is in the Cairo don`t have traffic light, and the traffic is chaotic, and you can see car, lorry, motorcycles, bicycles, the Isetta (huevito car) and camel or dromedary and donkey.   

The second place was the travel to Peru and Bolivia in the summer to 2011, whit my boyfriend. We lived from Arica, to Tacna, to Tacna to Arequipa, later we visited the Colca Canyon.

Later we went to Cusco, there we visited to Saksaywaman, and the city. Too from Cusco, we wet in train to Machu Picchu, there we listened the tours but don`t pay, for know more.  To Cusco we went to Puno, for could go to Bolivia, hear we visited to La Paz, Cochabamba, Potosí , and Uyuni.

In Cochabamba  we went to market, and you can eat ice cream whit fruit, for  1,50 dollars the first day there we hosted in la place near to bus station, this place it were very bad, only haven  the hot water the 7:00 at 10:00, and in the night that 20:00 at 22:00. I thought that in any moment the police enter to the bedroom, the next day we went to the hotel.

In Potosí we visited the mine, it is impressive and in Uyuni we don’t go to Salar because we don`t have money, went very sad, even we had to change Chilean coins by Bolivian coins. This trip took one month approximately and I like me because for the place that we visited, and went to the first holidays with my boyfriend. 

the subject

Hello:

Today I write of the one a thing that I attract attention me, in the exposition of Ken Robinson, that this exposition, attract attention me, this is the hierarchies that have someone subject for over other, principality that the subject artistic, or that allow express, generally these subject are for under of subject how mathematics, science or history etc. this hierarchies happen in all education system of world, nevertheless I think that in Chile, this situation is maximize,   well the subject that music and arts, have not much import, and always the hours that this subject, are taken for other thing. Or simply the teacher says paint.

Too I thing that subject, are very mechanical, because, don´t have how objective that the students can express, how integral person, well this subject be reduced to learn one technique and don´t be important as that want express, with the work.

Some time ago, the government wanted eliminate the hours that subject arts and music, with the objective to change for hours that mathematic and languages, and this form increase the result PSU. This is not form that get better result, well the result is have mechanical person that not think, nevertheless this situation agree or benefit to the dominant class, that this country.

the workshop

Hello:
today I write about my presentation and the topic. The topic that I chose is my workshop, and this be about the treatment that media principally TV, inform about to confrontation among the police and the protestor, specifically the violence, well don`t exist an analysis more profound respect of the confrontation violent in the context of strike. Too in my workshop I want observer the treatment respect of the figure of the “capucha” how subject that cover his face whit a shirt and wear clothes black and the stereotype that form.

I chose this topic, because how I wrote more up, is my workshop and I am constantly thinking in this, too I think that it is an interesting topic, and it is a topic that me like share.

The presentation I organize in four little part.  In the first place I present me. In the second place I present the topic of my workshop and explain the topic, in the third place I present the media that I will investigate. And finally I specific the strike or protest  that I will analyze in the development that my workshop.

the sociology

Hi:

Today I write about the career that I am studying. This career is sociology.

Why are you studying this career?

I decide study sociology because, actually I don´t know, but I thought the sociology is a career that allow move in a broad spectrum, I really have study political science  but in the Universidad de Chile, don´t exist the career as such, only as specialty, so that decide study sociology.

- How do professionals in your area contribute to society?

From the sociology a think that contribution to society is able to from some areas for example, the investigation, but the problem is that generally the investigation are known only by the academic circle. The other area the contribution to society is for me the public political, although that the area the where you can move is a limited, I think that the same way afford contribute to society.

- What tools will a professional in your area need to have in the future?

I think that a tools the sociologist must be capable that understand the society and understand the social process.

- What is your favourite subject?

My Favorites subjects that more like me in the a career, there are “movimientos sociales”, in general the subject about the history, and a subject that like me is  a “estudios de mercado”, principally because is a public opinion the subject and not estudios de mercado. 

up in arms me

Hi:

Today I write of thing that up in arms me, the first things are the Chilean systems economic, health system and educational system principally. There systems are very very segregate because all it is reduce to money. In this society to each social sector to belong a system public or private, if you can pay you have system private, if you can´t pay you have public system, in Chile don´t exist a supportive system how in other country.  In the public health system your have wait long time to receive attention principality in emergency in addition depend if you have very sick or not, if you don´t have so sick your have wait.

The other thing that indignant me, is when the people have attitude individualist, and not think that be people to around and that they live in a society and that not live alone in the world, for example in the FACSO, in the dining room, when one is in line of people for pay the for lunch, someone people don´t be the line of people and go to cash register and pay it´s dinner. 

FLAMENCO

Hi:

Today I will write of the flamenco, the dance, not of animals.

This dance, it´s typical dance Spanish, origin is gypsy, and it goes back to the first migratory flows.

The flamenco is a dance that have much emotions, and generally It`s express emotions how love, pain, loneliness, happiness among others. Too the way of sing it´s special.

The special feature it´s that flamenco divide in different dance, that name in Spanish is “palos”, each one of them have a form different rhythm. In general the rhythm it´s counting in twelve time, but what changes it the accent.

Too every “palo” have a thematic different, for example some express happiness and her name is alegría, in addition the form play guitar have thing special. Other it´s the “martinente” the history is very interesting because, this “palo” don´t have instrument, for example guitar or “cajon” (instrument the percussion), this “palo” only use a anvil, that it´s hit whit a little hammer, and a “cantaor” (singer), its origin is in a “Fragua” (place where to work the iron) and the workers in their free time singed.

The other days I write more of the flamenco.

the travel

I don´t have very ambition, but I would like to do someone thing, for example I like travel and I would like see Latin America and east Europe and too country Mediterranean for example Greece and it´s island whit it´s black house, I imagine that they are very very beautiful and romantics.  Too I would like to see Russia I think that it´s very interesting I would like visit principally the red square, Kremlin and the subway, one day washing TV I watch a documentary about the subway and in this the TV host talk that the subway is a the most luxury the word and too the most deep. Too I would like see China and Morocco, but for me to realize all this travel I need very much work, save up very money and finish the university.

To sum up my principal ambition it´s travel  by almost all over the world, but this isn´t happen I wouldn´t feel sad or failed.  Really this ambition is more like a dream.

In this opportunity I write about internet and web site, that I visit whit frequency.  I don´t have a favorite web site but I have web site that visit whit frequency. When I surf the net the first webs site that I visit it´s  gmail and facebook. After I visit web site that news generally the page the Cooperativa but too the web site that La tercera, El Mostrador and biobiochile that is de page the radio Bio-Bio, this generally have news that other region that not is Santiago. Sometimes  I visit that page Público or El País, these are spanish newspapers, who I lived in Spain I like be informed that the news of there, but too these newspapers  have good articles of international matters, well I consider that in Chile the information about international matters don´t are much and there don´t have many profundity for this reason I prefer find out about international matters through from this newspapers as Público or El País.

My name is Camila Contreras, I live in Providencia, in a apartment whit my parent. I´m twenty-four years.

On top, I´m study sociology in the University Universidad de Chile. I´m in fourth year.

I like read news, I like to be informed.

Before joing in the university, I lived in Spain whit my family for four year.

In my free time, I like make handcraft, for example mosaic, and also I machine saw, thing for example bag or   handbag, and bum bag. also I make drees for me. Now I want learn to make candle.

In the university in addition to study, too be a member of a little political party, is not specifically a party, is more little, its name is plataforma colectiva.

In the end I have A boyfriend that also study sociology and He is member to plataforma colectiva.
